Jake grew up building homes and felt a passion for construction from a young age. His grandfather was an accomplished builder and he spent his summers and school breaks working on construction crews. Jake has worked in all aspects of residential construction on all manner of projects, from his own businesses to large construction firms. He formed Cleveland Riggs Construction Co. with his partner Jim Riggs in 2019 with a renewed passion for providing a positive experience for customers as they embark on their project journeys. He is passionate about building and maintaining long term trust and productive relationships with his customers.

James got his start in construction over 25 years ago in NYC, working on both residential and commercial projects with a dramatic flair, which perfectly complimented his degree from NYU and experience in theater design. James’s personal philosophy is that the spaces in your home are meant to be experienced. Whether the space is meant to be cozy or airy - sleek or eclectic - classic or modern – James is dedicated to delivering a product that his clients are delighted to occupy. Him and his partner Jake fonded Cleveland Riggs Construction in 2019 on these principles.

Luke has always had an affinity for building things. He started his career in the elevator industry as a business process consultant in China during the 2000s construction boom. He operated as a Program Manager for projects across Asia. He returned to the US in 2010 to the manufacturing industry where he held multiple marketing and operational roles. Luke is excited to be part of the Cleveland Riggs team and to bring modern management practices, business processes, and innovation to the construction industry. He holds an MBA from Wake Forest University and is a certified Project Management Professional.
